Terms of Service
Effective date: June 27, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GLF Case Status app (the "Service"), operated by Gozel Law Firm PC ("Gozel Law Firm," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What the Service does
The Service lets authorized users track the status of immigration cases filed with USCIS by entering a USCIS receipt number. It retrieves status information directly from USCIS and presents it with a simple timeline and update notifications.
Not legal advice; not affiliated with USCIS
The Service displays case status information for convenience. It does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. For advice about your specific situation, please speak with a qualified attorney.
Gozel Law Firm is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of USCIS or the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Case status information is provided by USCIS, and we cannot guarantee that it is always accurate, complete, or current. Always rely on the official notices you receive from USCIS.
Who may use the Service
The Service is for authorized members of our firm and, where enabled, authorized clients. You must sign in with valid credentials issued to you, keep them confidential, and you are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- look up receipt numbers you are not authorized to access;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service or the USCIS API; or
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, text, and software, is owned by Gozel Law Firm and protected by applicable laws. Case status data remains the information of USCIS and the individuals to whom it relates. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Privacy
Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review it to understand what we collect and how we use and protect it.
Service provided as is
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty that the Service or the case status information will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gozel Law Firm will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on case status information obtained through the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change to these Terms, we will notify you and provide a plain-language summary, and — where required — obtain your active consent before the change applies to you. The effective date above shows the current version.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service, our users, or our systems. You may stop using the Service at any time and may ask us to close your account as described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Gozel Law Firm PC maintains its principal office, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where other law must apply.
